Fox Correspondent Declares '100% Voter Satisfaction'
Reported by Donna - December 15, 2005
Greg Palkot, the correspondent that Studio B with Shepard Smith uses frequently, covered a segment on the vote in Iraq today. As usual, we got his laid back, eyes half lidded, leaning to one side, slightly sarcastic remarks.
He was covering the vote in Iraq today and I wondered what he would come up with.
He never fails. One remark was that the Iraqi's put on their 'Sunday best' clothes to come out in a party atmosphere to vote. I don't know if 'Sunday best' translates to Islam, but so be it. He really acted in a condenseniding manner regarding the Iraqi's -- maybe they dress this way all of the time. I'm not sure if there was a party atmosphereBut he really got us with the fact based statement that there was 100% voter satisfaction today.
Comment: Palkot is hard to take serious. His ad libs are anything but professional and I say once again - the man has a future on the Daily Show. Serious journalism (though I hate to use that term for Fox News) doesn't seem to be his strong point.
100% voter satisfaction? C'mon. All in all a party atmosphere and a condensending attitude towards the Iraqi's regarding their dress for the elections in Iraq from Greg Palkot today.
