FOX News "Director of Media relations" attack dog responds, in typical FOX fashion
Reported by Chrish - December 14, 2005
Earlier it was reported that fromer FOX News producer Charlie Reina released a statement criticizing FOX as "ground zero in (America's) culture wars". His letter, sent to Poynter Online's Jim Romenesko, used the ridiculous "war on Christmas" begun by FOX as a prime example of their strategy to divide and conquer.
Romenesko received a curt response from Paul Schur, Director of Media Relations at Fox:
"Charlie's rants about Fox News are both predictable and sad. For his sake, we hope he stops howling at the moon and moves on with his life. We wish him well in his current role making cabinets out of his garage".
Note the Foxian tactics: attack the messenger; do not address the issue(s); passive-aggressive well wishes. How unprofessional - how typical.
Thanks to Scott at Idea Grove for the heads up.
