Fox Buries Bush's "30,000 Dead" Statement

Reported by Melanie - December 12, 2005

Check this out at TVNewser.com: CNN.com, MSNBC.com Highlight Bush's "30,000 Dead"; FOXNews.com Buries It.

Comment: Despite the facts disproving any link between 9/11 and Iraq, Fox News, to this day, introduces reports from Iraq with a full-screen graphic that says, "War on Terror." On Fox, 9/11 and Iraq are inextricably linked and the people who died on 9/11 are never far from a Fox viewer's mind. As recently as today, Fox aired video of terrified people running from the World Trade Center while huge clouds of dust billowed behind them during a segment on Your World w/Neil Cavuto.

Not only does Fox exploit the 3,000+ who died on 9/11, it is exploiting (by omission) the 30,000+ Iraqis who have died in the "War on Terror."

(FYI from October, 2004: Study: 100,000 Iraqis died in war, aftermath.)
