GrapeWhine Summary - Week of Nov 28

Reported by Nancy - December 4, 2005 -

Just two weeks' worth of summarizing the little "pickings" that appear on the Grapevine segment of Special Report begins to confirm some easily-predictable patterns. Not only are certain individuals, groups & topics repeatedly presented in either negative or positive light, but recurrent Foxian themes begin to emerge. This past week, for example, tidbits on the vine were used to target MoveOn.org, prominent Democrats & some of Fox's major competitors.

Here are 2 lists summarizing the past week's episodes of the "Grapevine" segment on Special Report (for the previous week's summary, click here):.

Comments: The preponderance of negative reports (roughtly 2:1 both last week & the week before) must contribute to viewers' feelings that the world is a big old, mean old, nasty place full of horrible people who are just waiting to "get" them, & it might go a long way towards explainng why FoxFans who write to us are so angry & miserable. Stay tuned as I accumulate these every week.

NOTE TO READERS: Please stay on topic (patterns on the Grapevine segment of Special Report). O/T comments will be deleted. Thanks.
