Look Who's Calling Them "Holiday Trees" Now! Can You Say "Hypocrite?"
Reported by Ellen - November 28, 2005
Accusing liberals of trying to steal Christmas has become a holiday tradition for the FOX News pundits. Last week, Sean Hannity introduced a debate about Boston referring to a "holiday tree" rather than a "Christmas tree," with the following complaint: "Why has Christmas come under attack in the Bay State? âŚYou can't say Christmas anymore? Is that gonna offend people?â
I wonder if Hannity is asking his bosses the same question. Today, on FOXNews.com, there is the following headline on a FOX News (not wire service) report: Holiday Trees Arrive at Capitol, White House
The article begins: Two of the nation's three branches of government were adorning themselves with more branches Monday as holiday trees were delivered to the Capitol and the White House. (Note: The "White House Christmas Tree" is referenced once, further in the article.)
Have liberals succeeded in working their evil, anti-Christmas agenda even at the highest levels of FOX News? Will Hannity & Colmes do an "exclusive" investigation into this shocking development? Or is it simply a case of "do as we say, not as we do" from the folks at FOX News?
As one of our readers wrote, "Merry Critical Thinking" to all.
