Factor Flub-Up: Hey, Bill, Where's That List of Smear Merchants?
Reported by Marie Therese - November 27, 2005
On November 14th, in the heat of his verbal assault on the city of San Francisco, Bill O'Reilly promised to post the names of all the despicable, cowardly, unpatriotic sites that supported the city of San Francisco and dared to call for him to be fired.
O'REILLY: "Finally, what did the citizens of San Francisco think was gonna happen after they voted to oppose military recruitment? We're in the middle of a War on Terror and these loopy voters do something like this and I'm not supposed to call them on it? Come on! Can you imagine this happening during World War II? So, I'm glad the smear sites made a big deal out of it, because now we can all know who is with the anti-military internet crowd. We'll post the names of all who support the smear merchants on BillOReilly.com. So check with us."
According to every conservative commentator in the country, 80% of the media are left-leaning elitists out to get the poor, muzzled, downtrodden righties! How hard can it be to compile such a list, especially when you frequently gloat that you know exactly who they are?
Yet, as of a few minutes ago, there was no such list posted on BillOReilly.com.
As usual, O'Reilly talks better than he walks.
