Much to be thankful for

Reported by Chrish - November 24, 2005

Politics aside, we all have so much for which to be thankful. We'd like to share a few of our thoughts and invite you to share yours with your News Hounds community.

Deb: I'm thankful that I answered that move on ad looking for Fox monitors almost two years ago. I'm also thankful that Jim is finally on the Lung Transplant list at UCLA. The best news we could get on Thanksgiving. I'm thankful that I have a family that supports and encourages me to spend endless hours working on News Hounds.

Janie: I'd like to say that I'm thankful for the wonderful women that I work with and have to mentor me. I'm thankful for the site, and for all of our wonderful readers...

Ellen: I'm thankful for the incredibly talented, wise and wonderful women plus one similarly endowed blogfather I have had the privilege to know and work with for almost two years. I'm particularly grateful that Jim will at last be on the lung transplant list. I'm also thankful for our amazing community of readers whose comments I look forward to every day. Last, but not least, I'm grateful to Hannity & Colmes and the rest of the FOX News programming for providing so much inspiration!

I'm thankful for living in a free country that allows me to complain and struggle against those who would make us less free. I'm thankful for all the News Hounds who care so much about having our country do the right thing. And
this year, I'm especially thankful for John Murtha.

Chrish: I'm thankful for the support of family and friends after this "finite, 3-month" adventure morphed into 2 years and counting. I'm thankful for my colleagues and meaningful work (even though the pay is, well, non-existent.) I'm thankful for the Internet!!! I'm most thankful that Jim is finally on the UCLA transplant list and will have his surgery sooner rather than later. And I'm thankful the Thanksgiving gathering is not at my house.

We're all thankful for this opportunity to be heard and to make a difference. Happy Thanksgiving!
