Like a child, John Gibson is fixated on Christmas

Reported by Chrish - November 23, 2005

Due to technical difficulties my recording of The Big Story today 11/21/05 was lost. What I did get, however, is that John Gibson is still promoting his ridiculous book with its ridiculous premise, i.e. that the small minority of non-Christians in this country are disappearing Christmas and stifling freedom of religion.

His My Word segment, never anything profound or even intelligent, has become the daily book-promo spot differentiated only by a specific rant or two contributed by viewers. He shamelessly exhorts the faithful to send their personal experiences of run-ins with secularists and church/state seperationists . Seven of his My Word segments since November 10 have been on the topic, according to the Fox News website.

Using rounded numbers from TVNewser.com and an estimated 80% Christian population, I figure that if every single viewer of the Big Story had his/her panties in a bunch over Christmas not being prominent enough, that's still only .3% of Christians feel underrepresented and a measly .25% of all Americans .

Give it up, Gibson - next to no one cares no matter how huge a platform Fox gives you for this nonsense.

And, wondering aloud, when will the "fair and balanced" channel give equal time to the other 60,000,000 who might be fed up with too much, too early, too omnipresent?
