FOX News Hypocrites Overlook Hannity's Untruths But Refuse To Air Ad Opposing Alito
Reported by Ellen - November 22, 2005
Fox News is refusing to air an ad critical of Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito, citing its lawyers' contention that the spot is factually incorrect.
If FOX News is so concerned with the truth, why is Sean Hannity allowed to distort it night after night? At least with an ad, the viewer knows someone is trying to sell something.

Examples of Hannity's distortions:
He said Rep. Murtha called for an "immediate redeployment"
He got the facts wrong about ANWR.
He distorted the record of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
He misreprsented the credentials of a doctor during the Terri Schiavo controversy.
See mediamatters.org for more examples of Hannity's "factually incorrect" statements.
Write FOX News and tell them sticking to the truth should be a requirement during their programs, too.
