Is Sean Hannity A GOP Operative?
Reported by Ellen - November 18, 2005
On tonight's Hannity & Colmes, Alan Colmes introduced the segment that would dominate most of the show - the pending vote in the House of Representatives on immediate withdrawal of troops in Iraq. Colmes announced, "House Republicans stunned their Democratic colleagues today by forcing a surprise vote on the withdrawal of troops in Iraq." (my emphases). But the funny thing is that last night, Sean Hannity talked about doing just that. Was Hannity clairvoyant or was he working as a GOP advance man?
Hannity told General Wesley Clark while he was a guest on last night's Hannity & Colmes,
I want you join me tonight, I want the Republicans to go into Washington tomorrow and I want you to call on the Democrats and Republicans, let's have an up or down vote right now. Do the Republicans and Democrats â put them on record, do they agree with John Murtha or not? Do they want a withdrawal or not? With all we know now, let's put these senators and congressmen on notice tonight and let's get them on the record. Will you join me in calling for that?
