Mort Kondracke: No Fitzmas!

Mort Kondracke looked very amused when he declared that there was "No Fitzmas" explaining to Barnes that Fitzmas was the celebration the Left was planning if Karl Rove had been indicted bringing down the Bush Administration. 10/29/05
Kondracke said that Libby is a very good guy, "it's hard for me to believe that he would lie to a Federal Grand Jury.
He added that the indictments were not about Iraq and the Left wanted the "lies about Iraq to be unmasked." Kondrackes tone suggested ridicule and disbelief.
Fred Barnes sounding exasperated joined in saying that everyone knows that we went into Iraq to depose a horrible dictator. Barnes announced that Karl Rove would not be indicted and the Libby charges were very narrow.
Kondracke had a chuckle moment with his Bud saying that he was impressed with Fitzgerald. " He reminded me of Kevin Costner playing Elliot Ness."
