Fox Displays Lack of Balance in Holidays

Reported by Janie - October 6, 2005

Yesterday (10/5) as I was watching Dayside, an interesting commercial caught my eye near the end of the show. As they were coming back from break, Fox aired a very nice commercial wishing all of its Jewish viewers a Happy Rosh Hashanah.

Comment: I thought the commercial was a great idea, but I think it's time to give Fox an alert of their own: It's also Ramadan.

There has not been one commercial aired wishing their Muslim viewers a happy Ramadan, but hey, Fox doesn't claim to be "fair and balanced", right? Oh wait... they do. Apparently that doesn't entail being balanced in recognizing religious holidays.
