O'Reilly Never Mentions the Words "100,000 Protesters"
Reported by Marie Therese - September 27, 2005
Last night [9/26/05] on the Factor "Billy" O'Reilly did his usual hatchet job on those who attended last Saturday's protest march. You can read his snide diatribe, if you really want to. It's called "Give Peace a Chance" and Mr. Bill had nothing nice to say . In fact, curiously, nowhere during the entire Factor show did he ever utter the words "100,000 protesters." Guess it would be hard to get his viewers to accept his argument that the antiwar movement is comprised of a rag-tag group of radical loonies were they to hear large numbers like that. However, to give the devil his due, in a rare moment of honesty, O'Reilly did say: "Many media outlets buried the story, as Hurricane Rita dominated the news." Things are really screwed up when there is no hue and cry over a statement like that made by a high-profile anchor on the #1 show on cable. The MSM isn't even bothering to hide their bias and self-censorship these days. Good bye news! Hello marketing!
