As Deborah noted and quoted, Geraldo Rivera took issue with LA Governor Kathleen Blanco. "Are you suggesting that the Texas evacuation was ill planned?" Gerald challenged.

The traffic jam reportedly stretched for 100 miles and hundreds if not thousands of people were stranded when their vehicles ran out of gas. The inbound lanes were not opened to outbound traffic until late in the game, after some people gave up and returned home to ride out the storm. "Houston, we have a problem" had a whole new meaning yesterday.
