OD'ing on Fox News Alerts

The most remarkable thing about Your World w/Neil Cavuto today (September 20, 2005) was the number of breaking news alerts Fox aired. There were a total of six alerts - either FOX NEWS ALERTs, FOX NEWS HURRICANE ALERTs, or FOX BIZ ALERTs. Alerts, alerts, alerts. Alerts are so prevalent on Your World that my senses are alerted when they don't happen. Only five Your World programs this month have been free of one kind of alert or another. The alerts are simply becoming part of the show.
