Schumer and O'Reilly Chew the Fat

Last night [9/15/05] Bill O'Reilly interviewed Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), considered by many to be a "liberal," but who is one of the token Democrats on the Board of Advisors for the conservative-backed Foundation for the Defense of Democracies. Schumer and O'Reilly laughed and joked back and forth, as Schumer coyly pretended that his mind isn't yet made up about the nomination of John Roberts.

I haven't had a lot of respect for Schumer since I discovered his connection to the FDD (a Steve Forbes enterprise), so I wasn't surprised when he got all buddy-buddy with O'Reilly last night.
