Sean Hannity's Heartlessness Shows Through Again
Reported by Ellen - September 13, 2005
With all the horrific events of Hurricane Katrina, you'd think the most noteworthy aspect would be the human suffering and loss of life and property. Not for Sean Hannity. For him it was the politics. Yes, once again decrying how others had politicized the hurricane, he outdid himself in the-pot-calling-the-kettle-black department during an interview last night (9/13/05) with White House Counsel Dan Bartlett.
Hannity said, "The most amazing part of the story is the warnings that were there for the local officials. The buses that weren't used, Amtrak was not utilized, Red Cross had food and supplies there so I think there's a lot of local blame to go around but it seems that (Hannity put on his sincere face) this has been politicized from the very second that this happened." Then he started in with his oh-so-famliar attacks on the usual Democratic scapegoats.
