Praise George Bush and Fox News

Reported by Donna - September 1, 2005

Today on Studio B, they stepped back and inserted some of their pro Bush rally calls, with a commercial for themselves added.

A red, white and blue banner flashed across the screen with the words 'America's Challenge' and underneath it said, Massive Relief Effort Along Gulf Coast. The 'America's Challenge' banner ran throughout a lot of the programming. Positive coverage on the president was presented throughout the program except when they showed the president telling the American people about a gas shortage, in essence, calling for panic buying.

But, the best came when they were cutting to a commercial - they played dramatic, symphonic, string music and the word FAITH flashed across the screen and we saw two caucasian boys on a street with towels around them. Then the word HOPE flashed across the screen and we saw a picture of President Bush looking out the window of Air Force One. We then saw the word PERSERVERENCE flashed across the screen and we saw a young African American with a huge garbage bag and a 12 pack of diet coke wading through the sewage infested water.

Then it ended with FOX NEWS CHANNEL in big letters and in small letters on the bottom it said American Red Cross, 800-Help-Now, www.redcross.org.

Comment: All in all it was a great 'praise the president' moment. You really had to hear the music.
