Mob Rule In The New Orleans Convention Center

Reported by Donna - September 1, 2005

Today on Studio B with Shepard Smith, he went to reporter Phil Keating for a report on the Convention Center. Keating responded by telling us as soon as it gets dark it's 'mob rule' inside the Convention Center.

He said last night women were getting raped in the bathrooms and 3 people were murdered. He followed with the remark that the Governor finally responded. However, during the hour on Studio B, no one said that the President finally responded.

Comment: I was physically sick after this report. This report should have been done in an unbiased manner without the need for the adjective - finally. But, as we all know, Fox must interject bias.

On this, the fourth day after the hurricane why can we not secure what was set up as an evacuation center? Smith did go on to report that the Governor, Kathleen Blanco, said there are 4000 National Guard in Louisiana today, 12,000 are supposed to arrive tomorrow and she has requested 40,000 of any kind of military.

Keep in mind that the responsibility for natural disasters falls under the direction of Homeland Security. This is the way the president set it up. Why were these military not dispensed sooner? And why is it that the women always have to suffer from violent crime?
