Fox - President Draws Parrallel Between VJ Day and the War in Iraq

Reported by Donna - August 30, 2005

While most of Studio B with Shepard Smith concentrated on the catastrophic damage caused by Hurricane Katrina, Fox still took out time to comment on the president's speech in California -- twice.

The first time was during the mid-show news when Jane Skinner announced that the president in his speech in California drew parallels between the U.S. victory over Japan and the War in Iraq.

Once wasn't enough. 15 minutes later Wendall Goler again repeated the statement that the president drew parallels between the surrender of Japan 60 years ago to the War in Iraq.

Comment: Fox did not say what these parallels might be, but they made sure that the message was delivered -- twice. Could it be that he is announcing 'Mission Accomplished' once again?

We report, you decide.
