Fox credit revoked

Reported by Chrish - August 23, 2005

In an earlier post I gave kudoes to Fox for airing video of anti-war protesters who showed up at Bush's speech to the hand-chosen VFW crowd in Utah yesterday, where his tired defense of the unnecessary Iraq war was greeted with applause inside.

Compare the picture that Fox presented of the anti-war protesters with these pictures, posted by regular reader Dee:

Note the difference? I personally have no problem with young hippies (or old ones for that matter), but the devout Fox viewers would summarily dismiss them as radical, counter-culture, outside the so-called mainstream, etc., etc.

But what if the devout tuned in to see their grannies and neighbors and co-workers out protesting? That might give them an inkling that not everyone who looks like them "feels" like they do (I can't call it "thinking").

I should have known better than to give Fox credit; even when they appear to be showing the "other side" we can rest assured that it's an unflattering picture.
