An Insult To Italy From Fox

Reported by Deborah - August 3, 2005

This morning the Foxicons were reporting the story of Hamdi Isaac, involved in the London bombing and their choice of words went beyond inappropriate. Doocy said, "His Italian lawyer is trying to get him a mafia-style deal." This was not simply a slip of tongue because mafia-style was written on the banner each time the story was aired and used by the Foxicons throughout the show.

This inflammatory term was taken from an article from the Times of London which is owned by News Corp which was not mentioned on air.To keep repeating it on the banner and in the verbal reports shows an unprofessional insensitivity to the viewers of the show.
