O'Reilly Takes A Jab At Molly Ivins

O'Reilly was pleased tonight that the Senate voted 98-0 to permit Boy Scouting events on Federal property because he claimed that it sent a message to the ACLU. He referred to the vote as "a stunning rejection ."
However, he was not happy about a recent article written by Molly Ivins where she referred to O'Reilly as "sludge for brains" and defended the ACLU. Bill claimed that Ivins was an example of the "immaturity of the far left."
Here's the paragraph that annoyed Bill the most of course.
I know that sludge-for-brains like Bill O'Reilly attack the ACLU for being "un-American," but when Bill O'Reilly's constitutional rights are violated, the ACLU will stand up for him just like they did for Oliver North, Communists, the KKK, atheists, movement conservatives and everyone else they've defended over the years. The premise is easily understood: If the government can take away one person's rights, it can take away everyone's.
Molly Ivins forgot another sludge-for-brains, Sean Hannity, who also loves to attack the ACLU even after turning to them for help in the past. Seems that Hannity was kicked off a radio station for his homophobic ravings and the ACLU defended him. Of course, Hannity has shown no gratitude for their help.
Comment: Now Molly Ivins has joined the long list of people that Big Bill has invited on the show for a scary confrontation. Nobody wants to go for a host of reasons but O'Reilly likes to claim that they ignore him out of fear. I would love to see Molly Ivins take on Bill O'Reilly. She is my hero. In fact, if I could choose to be anyone, it would be Molly Ivins and I know she could take Bill O'Reilly in a heartbeat.
