Feel Sorry For Poor Bernie Goldberg

Reported by Deborah - July 19, 2005

Bernard Goldberg was very upset last night whining to Bill O'Reilly that liberals are angry at him for writing his book and they are writing bad things. The fact that 97 out of the 100 people he named for screwing up America were liberals might have something to do with Bernie's situation. 7/18/05

Poor Bernie complained that the networks won't call him for an interview because they only want people they like and he was upset that people can write bad things about him on the internet anonomously.
O'Reilly comforted his rejected pal telling him that online writers are "simpletons without influence".

Bernie admitted that Jon Stewart was a very bright, decent liberal. O'Reilly related his experience with another liberal, Letterman, who wasn't nice to him about his stand on child rearing and children being respectful. O'Reilly was miffed that Letterman asked him if that was really so important in the scheme of things.

They lamented that people don't care anymore. Goldberg claimed that for a liberal the worst thing you can be is judgemental but he believed being judgemental was a good thing.

O'Reilly, a man of compassion last night, invited Goldberg back as an expression of solidarity. If they had been in the same studio, a tearful hug would have seemed appropriate for such an emotional moment.

Comment:This really happened, I promise. Goldberg must be out of mind. Is it possible that he can't understand why people are angry, horrified and repulsed by his book? This guy has spent too much time on Fox with people who actually respect hate mongers.
