John Gibson: "Why are Democrats screaming about Rove and about me?"

John Gibson, in for O'Reilly, lost both his composure and dignity tonight raving to Jamal Simmons about the reaction to his statement that "Karl Rove deserves a medal". His off the wall behavior tonight sure didn't help his case and he just got in deeper and deeper.
Gibson's voice dripped venom calling Valerie Plame "spy wife" adding later that she acted like " a common political hack" sending Joe Wilson to Niger.
"There's a crazy report. Why don't you go out and debunk it?"
Gibson failed to mention that Joe Wilson denied that his wife sent him on the trip to Niger.
Simmons tried to make points but Gibson was too worked up to listen continuing his wild accusations about Plame.
" She called it a crazy report! That means, come back and debunk it."
Then he turned his attention to the Democratic reaction to his statement telling Jamal Simmons in disbelief,
" Democrats circulated a letter about what I said and don't go on the air with him"
Simmons firmly but kindly spoke to Gibson like he was talking to a wild man.
"You were wrong. He (Rove) belongs behind bars."
Gibson looked angry and stunned as Simmons continued to speak and just kept repeating his name in a dissapointed tone.
"Jamal, Jamal, Jamal, Jamal'.... Good Night!"
Simmons was gone from sight.
comment: John Gibson should be canned for his behavior tonight but in the bizarro world of Fox News, this is the accepted norm.
