What a Guy! Bush "Makes Nice" With Democrats

Reported by Melanie - July 13, 2005

Tom Peters, introduced as "AOL's Better Life Coach," a "management guru" and the author of Re-Imagine, was a guest today (July 13, 2005) on Your World w/Neil Cavuto. He was on to talk about the task President Bush faces, that of selecting a replacement for Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.

Cavuto's first, sarcastic question was: "All right, so Tom, switch it around now. You're giving management advice to the President of the United States. He makes nice with some Democratic leaders at the White House yesterday. Wants to kumbaya. Let's all, you know, talk about this. Is that the right strategy?" (Emphasis added.)

Cavuto's website advertised the segment like this: "Picking a candidate for the court, President Bush makes a supreme gesture to Democrats. Will it help or hurt the process?" (Emphasis added.)

Comment: Peters has been on before. He comes off as fairly impartial and unbiased politically, so leave it to Cavuto, the one who absolutely should be impartial and unbiased, to add the partisanship, and right at the beginning of the interview, no less (set the stage, and all that). We wouldn't want even one segment to air without making sure the audience is reminded that Democrats are losers, now, would we, Fox?
