You can't spell cover-up without R-O-V-E

Last night I wrote that Fox, via Brit Hume's Special Report, had refined the Rove defense to several talking points, specifically
"Summary of points to drill:
1. It's a summer thing, like shark attacks.
2. Nobody cares except DC insiders - wonk wonk nudge nudge.
3. It's personal - it's a "Get Rove" creation.
4. It's partisan - Democrats smell blood in the water. (There's that shark thing again.)
5. The press, which Fox apparently considers itself above, has it in for Rove."
The posts I am working on now about John Gibson's Big Story and today's Special Report will point out that the blame, amazingly, is being turned around to Joe Wilson.
Lo and behold, today at rawstory.com it is revealed that there is a "Special Edition" from the GOP to recipients of the RNC's "D.C. Talker" communication which outlines the specific talking points. To nobody's surprise, Fox is following them to the letter.
Anyone who still doubts the relationship between the Bush/Rove administration and the noisemakers at Fox, i.e. master and loudspeaker, needs to do some introspection on why they continue to support this blatant corruption and place party loyalty above love of country.
