Jonathon Hunt Says London Bombing Investigation Appeared to Be Moving Slowly

Reported by Donna - July 12, 2005

The question is, how fast do you have to respond in an investigation to satisfy Jonathon Hunt and Fox News?

Today on a segment of Studio B with Shepard Smith, Jonathon Hunt said, "An investigation that appeared to be moving slowly, gathered pace dramatically today."

Appeared to be moving slowly? What has it been, five days since the bombings? To have the pictures, id's, and addresses of the four suspected bombers in a five day period is a pretty fast pace if you ask me.

I, for one, would like to congratulate the British and London intelligence officers, police and Scotland Yard, who have worked diligently to come up with the information so quickly.

Jonathon Hunt, who's been in our doghouse for quite a long time now, continued his deserved sentence by uttering a completely ridiculous statement today in London. He could have saved himself by commenting that the investigation continued to move rapidly forward today with the information on the four alleged suspects. No, he had to interject the negative 'An investigation that appeared to be moving slowly' remark to start off his report.

Why does it seem that Fox has to put down every other countries investigative skills?

Just think, if the United States is hit with another terrorist attack, we'd better have all of the information before five days has passed, or we'll be 'moving slowly'.
