Hussein/Al Queda connection still being pushed on FOX

Brit Hume, on Special Report 7/11/05, interviewed Stephen Hayes of sister company The Weekly Standard about his new book "The Connection : How al Qaeda's Collaboration with Saddam Hussein Has Endangered America". The Connection between News Corp.'s FNC and News Corp's HarperCollins, the book's publisher, was not disclosed.
The latest edition of the paper has "further evidence" to shore up the contentions in Hayes' book, i.e. that the government of Saddam Hussein was working with Al Queda terrorists. The segment, lasting approximately seven minutes, was one on one with no rebuttal or debate from experts who disagree with Hayes' assessment, which just so happens to back the administration claims.
So, get the administration's disputed justification for pre-emptive war affirmed, and promote The Weekly Standard's latest issue, and revive sales of a year-old book - it's a triple for News Corp!
