World Gathers To Bring Positive Change
Reported by Deborah - July 2, 2005
Tens of thousands of people dressed in white have gathered in Scotland today to urge world leaders to make the poverty in Africa a priority during the upcoming summit.
At the same time the Live 8 Concerts are underway in ten locations throughout the world to raise our consciousness about the problems in Africa. A cell phone report from the Philly Concert speculated that there is close to a million people gathered at this point.
In the meantime, Shasta Groening has been found alive in Idaho which is a wonderful event but not the only thing happening in this world. FNL has been covering it for an hour. Let's see if these humanitarian gatherings are covered today.
