Cavuto Still Fans the Anti-French Flames
Reported by Melanie - June 27, 2005
Neil Cavuto sounds like a broken and worn-out record. Even today, after no WMD have been found in Iraq and after we've made a mess of the place, he holds a grudge against the French for opposing the invasion. He fans the anti-French flames once or twice a week with one- or two-line digs that he manages to work in, sometimes in absurd ways. Like today.
Cavuto interviewed Jose Eber, a high priced Los Angeles hairdresser who immigrated to the United States from France 30 years ago. At the end of the interview, Cavuto said: "Owing to your French ancestry and the fact that you came here virtually penniless as a kid, was there any resentment to you when we went through this whole anti-France thing or did your clients say we love you, we love you, period?"
Comment: Ah yes, Cavuto is such a loyal foot soldier for the right.
