A Miracle on Fox!
Reported by Donna - June 21, 2005
Monitoring Studio B with Shepard Smith doesn't always afford me the opportunity to come up with the great zingers an O'Reilly or Hannity may divulge.
Today was no exception, most of the show was dedicated to the missing boy in Utah (except for a few minutes when Greta came on to promote her show - more cross promotion). No commercials were aired.
Yes, the boy, Brennan Hawkins, was found, as reported by Fox, alive and well. I didn't count the times, but the word 'miracle' was used several times.
A miracle, a true miracle, more than a miracle, etc. etc.
The funniest moment in the show came when Judge Andrew Napolitano came in (I can't help feeling he was the only person around and Smith grabbed him) and said the following: "Such joy, if we can voice our personal opinions for once."
Comment: For once? Opinion rules the day on Fox, though I did feel sorry for Napolitano, who seemed to be like a fish out of water and just someone for Smith to talk to.
Greta's push for her show tonight, the cross promotion, included her saying wouldn't it be great if they also got good news in Aruba? Don't push it Greta, now, that really would be a miracle.
