Party of "moral values" takes cold hard cash over principles
Reported by Chrish - June 15, 2005
Brit Hume kept a straight face ;-) when he read on Special Report 6/14/05 "Tonight President Bush will dine with a porn star. Mary Carey, the well-endowed star of such adult films as "Dual Airbags" and "Some Like "em Big", will join thousands of GOP supporters for a fundraising affair known as The President's Dinner. This afternoon she held a news conference in Washington and we thought who better to send than our own Brian Wilson..."
Voice of Brian Wilson, with images of Mary in flag bikini top bouncing down a DC street, tells us she will be among 5,000 big donors attending the dinner tonight. She is the guest of porn producer Mark Kulkis who made the requisite donation to the RNCC. After the GOP realized they may have made a "grand old mistake" they assigned a Republican chaperone to the porn star.
This afternoon she held a press conference (in a dark bar) to show off the dress she will be wearing, to show that not everything she wears is "slutty". This photo op, unlike many others (says Wilson) contains a nugget of news: she will be running for Lt. Governator of CA. Said Ms. Carey: "I notice lately he's been down in the polls, so I definitely could help him get back up the polls...that's my specialty."
Ms. Carey is reported to have a little crush on Karl Rove, who she says "is charismatic, and funny. He seems very smart and powerful, he's been helping Bush for 33 years, and I think that's attractive."
Wilson says "We were at first disbelieving." Asking her "You think he's an attractive man?" She squeaks, "Well, yeah he is. I like older guys, like you, that are handsome and smart and tall. " (In the background we can hear the interviewer LOL.)
Wilson says she wants to sit down and see what she can learn from Rove and asks "Anything you could teach Karl Rove?" to whish she predictably answered "I'm sure I could teach him a thing or two - hahahaha! - nothing I could talk about here. Hahahaha!"
The segment ends and returns to Brit, who says "We don't call Brian the big moose for nothing" and ends the show.
Comment: I guess it goes to show that the Republicans are expanding their tent, as long as you've got the bucks to ante up.
