COMMENT

Way to go, John Conyers! We'll be watching!

Thanks to Celeste at The Political Amazon who let me know that a big "Thank You" is owed to Air America's Randi Rhodes who was on top of the DSM petition drive long before anyone else. Randi posted Conyers' letter on May 28th on her website. As Celeste said in her email to News Hounds:

"moveon.org joined in on the Conyers petition late in the game. The Randi Rhodes Show had been urging others to sign the Conyers petition for at least 3 days before that.

"In fact, Conyers specifically publicly thanked Rhodes for her efforts and said that his office staff could always tell when Rhodes' show was on because the signatures to the petition would triple the normal per-hour rate.

"Understand, I'm 150% for all groups involved, but it's nice to give thanks to all of the folks involved."

Let's hear it for Woman Power!
