Hannity Would Love To See Dean's Demise
Reported by Deborah - June 9, 2005
There hasn't been too much political debate on Hannity& Colmes lately but there is always a spot for the regular Howard Dean smear. This week the Howard Dean segment has been sandwiched in between the crime in Aruba and Michael Jackson. Each time Dean speaks out,Hannity pounces trying to repeat the success of the "scream" smear campaign that made everyone believe that Dean was unstable.
The outrage of the week concerns Deans comment about the Republican Party bing predominatly white Christians.Last night Newt Gingrich had his turn and tonight G Gordon Liddy joined Hannity in condemning Dean.
Hannity as always has collected his litany of inappropriate Dean comments which he repeats faithfully for every smear segment. These comments have been changed so much by Hannity that it would be almost impossible to research their precise origins. This doesn't seem to matter because the relentless repetition is all that's needed to make a significant impact on viewer's minds.
Tonight Hannity was annoyed because despite predictions that Democrats are distancing themselves from Dean, Harry Reid expressed his support with a press conference in his office. During that press conference there was a problem with a verbally abusive member of the press who turned out to be a member of the Fox News brotherhood reported on americablog
comment: Hannity and his brotherhood of hate have succeeded in their destruction campaigns in the past but I sense they know that people aren't falling for the same old manipulation techniques. Yes, Dean is very direct at times but anyone who has heard him speak knows how well he can get our message across.
