First Things First
Reported by Melanie - May 2, 2005
If you looked at Neil Cavuto's website before the show today, you probably assumed that the discussion about the "dismal trading year" would be the first segment and lead topic. Not so. The first segment was a long (six minute) interview with Tommy Franks, there to spin the violence in Iraq (during the "evolution" of a new government we can expect "that we're gonna be lookin' at fractious behavior") and sell his book (published by the parent company of Fox News and out in paperback today). The roundtable discussion took place 24 minutes into the show.
Comment: First things first, like spinning the war for one boss man and selling books for the other.
