Jane Fonda Gets Full Hannity Treatment

Reported by Deborah - April 7, 2005

Last night Jane Fonda was smeared again by Hannity and Ollie North. This time Hannity brought out some old clips circa 1972 and Michelle Malkin contributed with some 1972 quotes from Fonda expressing her opposition to the Vietnam War. Jane Fonda, now 66, has said in her memoir, My Life So Far,that she deeply regrets her behavior during a trip to Hanoi in 1972 yet Hannity, Malkin and North decided that Fonda is not sorry at all and just wants to sell books. Ollie North called her a traitor sadly acknowledging that she will not go to prison. Then he plugged his War Stories show on FNC where the real story of Vietnam will be recounted.4/7/05

Comment: How about an old time tar and feathering in front of the Vietnam Memorial in D.C.? Are these verbal mutilations from the Right really much different?
