It's The Drip, Drip, Drip

Reported by Melanie - March 17, 2005

The entire hour of Your World w/Neil Cavuto today (March 17, 2005) was about the House hearings on steroid use by baseball players. The first nine minutes were taken up by reports and interviews, one with comedian Jackie Mason, of all people, who I didn't know was an expert on baseball or steroids. At 4:09 p.m. ET, as Cavuto looked at a live shot of the Capitol Hill hearing room, he said the players were there but everyone was "waiting for the congressional players. But they have their own time. This is Clinton time in Washington. It doesn't matter what party you belong to. They're, they're just late."

Fox cut to a commercial, went to a "news" break and then, other than an interview about the hearings with golfer Greg Norman, it aired live, uninterrupted coverage.

Comment: Ah yes. True to form, Fox manages to work in a dig at Clinton even during an hour when the only topic is steroid use by baseball players.
