John Bolton Sends A Signal

Reported by Deborah - March 13, 2005

Phil Graham discussed his concerns about the recent appointment of John Bolton as UN Ambassador with Alan Colmes on H&C, 3/11/05.When Colmes asked Graham what signal this appointment sends,Graham said it was "lack of consistancy"

Graham was puzzled that Bush would make this appointment after spending a week in Europe trying to create a more collaborative attitude."To make this appointment is inexplicable."

Graham told viewers about an experience he had with Bolton in Florida. Bolton angered the Cuban community by declaring that the Cubans had developed a weaponized bio tech system which turned out to be untrue.

comment: The signal sent by this appointment can only hurt our standing in the world. It is obvious that Bolton has no respect for the United Nations so how in the world can he be an effective Ambassador.
