Vote in University of Colorado Poll
Reported by Marie Therese - March 9, 2005
As we reported yesterday, the University of Colorado President Elizabeth Hoffman has resigned after five years of doing her best to fix some very unfortunate systemic problems at the school, largely resulting from an out-of-control sports program and a significant drop in donations and endowments, the result of the bursting of the dot.com bubble. The Daily Camera, Boulder's hometown paper is sponsoring a poll on the question: "Do you think Elizabeth Hoffman made the correct decision in resigning?" Unlike the CU Alumni poll, which was a joke because it allowed multiple votes, this one will let you vote only ONCE. We suggest our Colorado residents log on and express your opinion. Out-of-state visitors are welcome as well, I would assume. The link takes you to the front page of the paper. The poll question is located under the headline "Suggestions pouring in for new President." Click here Daily Camera to vote.
