Conservatives: Dominated by Athiests & Liberals?
Reported by Melanie - March 8, 2005
Today (March 8, 2005), toward the end of Your World w/Neil Cavuto, I saw a promo for tonight's O'Reilly show. The promo caught my ear because it reminded me of something Cavuto said yesterday.
Monday, in a segment with Mark Levin about the Ten Commandments and God in the "public square," Cavuto asked Levin: What if a "majority were atheists and those who were religious were getting ticked off"? (Fox News and the Ten Commandments.)
The O'Reilly promo I heard today said: "Tonight at eight. When it comes to free speech, some say the left are the only ones with rights. Are loose-talking liberals fueling a war of words"?
Comment: While conservatives work to increase their already immense power, as in the nomination of John Bolton as ambassador to the United Nations, rumors of Paul Wolfowitz heading the World Bank, and talk of doing away with the filibuster, this notion that religious people and conservatives are dominated by atheists and liberals is getting crazier and crazier.
