Zell Miller - Adopted Puppy of the GOP

Zell Miller,now an FNC employee, was on hand last night to smear his party and campaign for Bush's plans for Social Security.After Hannity aired the DNC ad countering the accelerated campaign to push through Bush's SS "reforms", Miller jumped in with his rehearsed quips claiming that the Dem strategists behind the ad were behind John Kerry's windsurfing. Zell lost some of his witty pizazz later on when Colmes showed a damning clip of Bush at a recent SS campaign stop.
Hannity and Zell had just gotten warmed up when Colmes surprised viewers with a clip of Bush telling a crowd that the the private accounts he proposed were " add ons" that didn't change the benefits.
Colmes pointed out that this was totally deceptive leading people to believe that their SS benefits would remain secure and unchanged.
Zell launched into a unity plea claimimg that everyone should get together and throw ideas around and get this thing settled."Get 30 people in a room..." The revealing video clip was swept aside but it was pretty clear what goes on in those pre screened town hall meetings on Bush's tour.
