"Outfoxed" center of attention on ABC's "Boston Legal"
Reported by Chrish - March 4, 2005
Robert Greenwald's "Outfoxed" is the subject of next Sunday's (3/13, 10PM ET) "Boston Legal" on ABC.
However, the folks at ABC are not allowing the words "Fox News" or the name "Bill O'Reilly" to appear in the episode, which centers around a school principal's use of the FOXBlocker on all the televisions in his school.
ABC has also declined to run this great commercial for Outfoxed .
Read more at JimGilliam.com , where our blogfather sums it up this way: "So in an ABC show fundamentally about the first amendment, ABC muzzles the show's creator to protect a competitor and refuses to sell commercial space for an ad critical of that competitor."
Comment: It's so frustrating to see yet another cave-in by yet another network. You can contact (the wussies at) ABC at
