Fox News's message-of-the-day (February 21, 2005) has been one of indignation that George Bush's friend, Doug Wead, taped his conversations with Bush, without Bush's knowledge. The right is crying foul, claiming that friends don't tape friends.
Comment: Oh really? I don't remember the conservative chattering class crying about friends taping friends when Linda Tripp taped conversations with her friend, Monica Lewinsky.
