Another Look at Harry Reid

Reported by Ellen - February 17, 2005

Last night, Alan Colmes played the entire interview with Harry Reid, Senate Minority Leader, on his radio show. An edited version of the interview was broadcast on Hannity & Colmes earlier. As Deborah mentioned in her post about Reid, I was also quite impressed with Reid's forthright no-nonsense style.

He readily admitted that Howard Dean was not his first choice for DNC chair but I should think that two such straight-shooters would get along well. I was sorry to hear that Colmes' radio audience was not as impressed with Reid. Many criticized him for avoiding saying how he felt about abortion (he's known to be against it) but Colmes underscored Reid's overall frankness and openness and that it's unfair to judge him based on just that one remark.
