On February 3, 2005, Brit Hume, Fox News' chief news anchor, shamelessly strung together quotes from Franklin Delano Roosevelt to give the impression that Roosevelt favored private accounts over Social Security.
Hume isn't a Fox pundit or a commentator or a "strategist." Hume is Fox News' most senior anchor, responsible for delivering factual, reliable, true and correct information. We join Al Franken in calling for Hume to resign for lying to the American public and shilling for the Bush administration and its effort to gut Social Security. Write to Fox News here.
