Kissinger Says Iran Not For This Year
Reported by Deborah - January 26, 2005
Henry Kissinger joined Greta van Susteren to give a very predictable analysis of post election Iraq. There were no surprises until Greta asked Kissinger about future plans to spread Democracy in other countries. At first, Kissinger stressed that Bush spoke in general terms in his inaugural speech but as he continued talking, the possibility of an Iranian invasion emerged. 1/26/05
Kissinger, at first, claimed that Bush had no plans to deploy our troops in other countries adding unless the country represents a direct threat to us.Kissinger told Greta that someday we will face a problem of nuclear weapons in rogue regimes like North Korea and Iran but not this year.Kissinger claimed that Iran is stalling for time and a lot of countries will be facing this decision and must discuss the issue. Once again he stressed, "Not an issue for this year."
Comment: Considering this administration's policy of not introducing new products in August,Bush could start building support in early fall 2005 for Operation Endless War II.
