Like Bush, FOX News Avoids Mentioning Iraq or Afghanistan

Reported by Ellen - January 20, 2005

In its report on Bush's swearing in, FOXNews.com gushingly reported that George W. Bush "vows to spread freedom" and pledged to "break the reign of hatred and resentment." But, like Bush, FOX never mentioned anything about Iraq or Afghanistan, the two places where we're supposedly doing just that.

The Fox story does mention that Bush's remarks "made no mention of specific legislative battles ahead on Social Security and tax reforms, judicial confirmations and other measures."

Funny that no mention is made of Iraq, the place that, thanks to us, is supposedly starting its road to freedom and democracy with an election in 10 days. It wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that, according to the LA Times support for the Iraq war just hit a new low, would it?
