Hannity's Inaugural Preparations

Hannity only has two more days to get the national mood just right for his President's inauguration. So his goal tonight was to discredit the groups protesting and make Kerry look as bad as possible. 1/17/05
First there was Lelia Spears from Counter Inaugural who viewers were told was invited by Colmes. Michael Reagan and Hannity were not sympathetic to the plight of the DC residents who are footing the bill for security and all the bleachers to hold the ticketed guests.This event is not for the people unless you're a Bush supporter with ticket money. Hannity did his best to paint Spears as a wild anarchist which did not fit at all. Spears, soft spoken articulate and even tempered did a good job debunking the right wing myth of the typical protester. When Spears spoke about DC needing money for other things like teachers, a sarcastic aah of sympathy could be heard from either Reagan or Hannity in the background.
Hannity gave her a sore loser speech and tried his usual ploy of reading an inflammatory statement and harrassing her to condemn it.
REagan berated the protesters because it was right before the Iraq election. So predictable.
Then we got a little piece about Kerry talking about voter suppression. That called for some more sore loser talk.
Then Evan Thomas, Newsweek,talked about his time spent on both campaigns for his new book. Thomas ripped Kerry to shreds saying he was whiney and petulant; his campaign was a mess; was always on his cell phone; a pompous speaker and knew he wasn't liked.Bush was mentioned briefly but in a complimentary light.
comment: Thanks Hannity. Now I feel great about spending 40 mil on Bush's party. What a relief we all feel that John Kerry is really a loser and George W Bush is our fearless and perfect leader.He should be cheered by the grateful masses on Thursday and those disgraceful anarchists should be locked up and let us not forget on MLK day that there was no voter suppression.That is a terrible lie we made up because we are sore losers and cry babies.
