Who's Paying For Inauguration Security??

Bob Schiffer revealed in his commentary this morning that the extra security needed for the inaugural festivities will be paid by the residents of Washington D.C. In addition, taxpayers will be footing the bill for all those bleachers set up for Bush supporters which is pretty unfair considering the majority of taxpayers in D.C. voted for Kerry and will have no access to the seating. Schiffer added that these funds are coming out of the money earmarked for terrorist protection for residents not inaugural party guests.
Why isn't this big news ?
